Hi, I’m Kimberly Justice, PMHNP-BC!
Hi, I’m Kim Justice, PMHNP-BC. I’m an integrative psychiatric nurse practitioner who believes that healing happens when you feel truly heard, supported without judgment, and guided in understanding both your mind and your body. My approach blends evidence based psychiatry with real human connection so you can finally feel grounded, present, and emotionally steady in your daily life.
My path into mental health began after years as an emergency room nurse, military leader, and combat veteran. I witnessed the deep suffering of people who were doing their best to be strong for everyone else, yet had nowhere safe to fall apart. After losing fellow veterans to suicide and seeing how often trauma went unseen, I shifted into psychiatry to offer the kind of care I wished they had received. Today, I specialize in helping high achieving medical professionals, mothers, veterans, and first responders, move out of survival mode and into a life filled with purpose, balance, and hope.
If we work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, clinical skill, and a provider who understands what it means to carry heavy weight for far too long.
I work with people who are “functioning”—but not okay. The ones who appear calm on the outside while chaos brews underneath.
I’ve lived through trauma myself—and I know healing starts when we stop pretending and start telling the truth.
If you’re ready for care that gets to the root—and honors the full you—I’m here for that.
I help high achieving mothers, veterans, first responders, and medical providers who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in cycles of anxiety, trauma responses, and sleepless nights feel grounded, present, and emotionally steady by blending integrative psychiatry with down to earth compassion, evidence based tools, and the understanding that comes from living many of these stories myself.
I believe every person can live a meaningful, fulfilling life despite their past and that healing becomes possible when you feel truly heard, genuinely supported, and understood as a whole human being.
I specialize in:
Integrative treatment for depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, and burnout
Support for high achieving mothers balancing work, family, and identity
Trauma informed care for veterans, first responders, and medical personnel
Medication management with an integrative focus on vitamins, supplements, and overall wellness
DBQ and Nexus documentation for veterans seeking service connection

Do you…
Find yourself lying awake at night with your mind racing, wondering why you can’t shut off the worry or stop replaying the same stressful thoughts?
Feel exhausted by the constant pressure to hold everything together for your family, your patients, your unit, or your team, even though you’re barely holding on yourself?
Wake up from nightmares, dread going into work, or feel guilty that you don’t have the energy to be present with the people you love most?
Struggle with irritability, sadness, intrusive thoughts, or the sense that you’re not “yourself” anymore?
Wonder why things that used to be easy now feel overwhelming, or why your brain won’t give you a moment of peace?
If you’re a mother pushing through burnout, a veteran managing trauma, a first responder living in survival mode, or a medical provider running on empty, you’re not alone. These symptoms are not personal failures or signs that you’re “not strong enough.” They’re signs that your nervous system is tired, your brain is carrying too much, and you deserve support that honors the full complexity of your life.
Together, we will look at the root of what’s going on and help you feel calmer, more present, better rested, and more connected to the people and life that matter most.
